Henckelia
Henckelia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Gesneriaceae. Many of its species were formerly placed in Didymocarpus sect. Orthoboea and in the genus Chirita.Many species formerly placed in Henckelia have been moved to Codonoboea and Loxocarpus.
Henckelia species are found in Thailand, particularly in northern Thailand. Five new species, including H. amplexifolia, H. nakianensis, and H. dasycalyx, were described from Thailand, with H. dasycalyx being from Northern Thailand. The genus as a whole is found in various regions, including Sri Lanka, southern and northeastern India, Nepal, Bhutan, southern China, northern Laos, northern Vietnam, and northern Thailand.

Henckelia dasycaly, correctly spelled Henckelia dasycalyx, is a species of flowering plant in the family Gesneriaceae. It is a species of herb recently described from Thailand in 2019 by Sirirugsa and Middleton. It is also listed in the World Flora Online as an accepted name

ไม้ล้มลุก สูงได้ถึง 35 ซม. ▫️ ใบเรียงตรงข้ามห่าง ๆ รูปรี รูปขอบขนาน หรือแกมรูปไข่ ยาวได้ถึง 20 ซม. โคนกลมหรือเว้าตื้น เบี้ยว ขอบจักฟันเลื่อย แผ่นใบมีขนประปรายทั้งสองด้าน ก้านใบยาวได้ถึง 7 ซม. ▫️ ช่อดอกมี 1–7 ดอก ก้านช่อสั้นหรือยาวได้ถึง 8 ซม. ▫️ ใบประดับรูปไข่หรือแกมรูปขอบขนาน ยาว 0.5–1.5 ซม. มีขนครุย ก้านดอกยาว 0.5–1.8 ซม. หลอดกลีบเลี้ยงยาวได้ถึง 1.4 ซม. กลีบรูปสามเหลี่ยม ยาว 3–7.5 มม. มีขนประปรายด้านนอก หลอดกลีบดอกสีขาว ยาว 2.5–4 ซม. ▫️ กลีบสีขาวอมม่วง ด้านในมีปื้นสีเหลือง กลีบล่างยาว 1.2–1.5 ซม. เกสรเพศผู้ยาวประมาณ 1.2 ซม. เกสรเพศผู้ที่เป็นหมัน 2–3 อัน ยาว 3–5 มม. รังไข่ยาว 2–3 ซม. ยอดเกสรเพศเมียพูล่างจัก 2 พู ยาว 3.5–4.5 มม. ▫️ ผลยาว 7.5–17 ซม.
พบที่อินเดีย จีนตอนใต้ พม่า ลาว เวียดนามตอนบน ในไทยพบทางภาคเหนือภาคกลาง และภาคตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ขึ้นตามโขดหินในป่าดิบแล้ง และป่าดิบเขา ความสูงถึงประมาณ 1300 เมตร

Middleton นักพฤกษศาสตร์จากสวนพฤกษศาสตร์เอดินบะระ สกอตแลนด์ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญพืชวงศ์ชาฤาษี (Gesneriaceae) ของโครงการพรรณพฤกษชาติประเทศไทย (Flora of Thailand) ซึ่งพรรณไม้ชนิดนี้พบโดยทีมสำรวจพรรณไม้ภายใต้โครงการวิจัยความหลากหลายของพันธุ์พืชในระบบนิเวศเขาหินปูน บริเวณอำเภอนาด้วง จังหวัดเลย โดยตัวอย่างพรรณไม้ต้นแบบ (Holotype) Naiyana et al. หมายเลข 2974 ถูกเก็บรักษาไว้ที่หอพรรณไม้ กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติสัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช (BKF)
